Cuba approves, makes available lung cancer vaccine

Recommended Posts

Hi, Dawn and Will.

There is an entire series of postings on this subject beginning June 25, 2008 in the Lung Cancer in the News forum at:

http://lungevity.org/l_community/viewtopic.php?t=37613

At this time the only way to get it in the US is when the clincial trials start, but as is noted in the above thread, there are eased restrictions for U.S. residents to get it from Cuba.

These vaccines are showing very real promise. I am leaning on doing a vaccine study soon for my next round of treatment. I just need to know those I qualify for and the advantages/ disadvantages of each. I do NOT want to be part of a double blind study (Placebo vs. treatment)

The FDA and Clical trials.gov have nothing as of this day!! This could take a while what with politics and Bearacracy in Washington.
