shelliemacs Posted December 1, 2003 Share Posted December 1, 2003 I am once again asking for your prayers....this time it is for my 34 yeal old cousin who is end stage oral/neck cancer which had spread to his lungs. they told us today 2 days to two weeks. They told us that the tumor on his neck is about to compromise his juggular vein and how the end would be. I will not share the details that they fealt they needed to share with us but it would and will be awful. he will leave behind a wife of 4 years and a two year old baby girl. please pray god makes it bearable for him, and them and us. his death will be 7 for my family this year having lost yet another family member just 6 days ago from skin cancer. how much more should we endure God? You will have to lean on one another this season more than any family I can imagine. I pray his passing will be more free of pain than you fear. That is the hardest part, many of us know, as they have already gone through so much why would there have to be even more to deal with at this point? I don't know why your family has been hit so hard, but I do believe that God is loving and full of mystery at the same time. Someday we will be there with them and we will have clarity that can only come from being free of this flawed world. Thank God we have friends and family to lean on. God bless...hang in there... Remember tho we don't see it there is a reason for our suffering. In time we will know and better understand. It just seems unfair that some have to bare more than others but who are we to second guess God? Hold on to eachother and above all hold on to God. He is the only one who can make the grief bearable.
