I'm so sorry to report that my husband, Doug, died on 11/22/03. He did so well for a while, but his cancer spread very rapidly when his chemo stopped working. He never really had a chance with the new chemo. His oncologist said the liver tumor was massive. I don't know how much good I will be on here for a while, because I don't feel like I have much to offer anyone at the present time. I do appreciate all the support I received from this board and hope I can contribute more in the future.

Thank you all for being a good sounding board.

words cannot express how sorry I am for you. I hate cancer and what it does to our loved ones as well as ourselves. I can't say how sorry I am in words. My wish for you is that one day, some day, it wont hurt like it does today.

Flabet: Prayers to you and your family during this difficult time. Please stay in touch. What others have gone through already and what they've posted has helped me realize the road my family has ahead of them. May God bless you!
