Patti B Posted August 25, 2008 Author Posted August 25, 2008 HI All - Well, damn, damn, damn. I won,t know anything for AT LEAST another 24 hours - and we know that in this business, 24 hours can be an eternity!! I went for my MRI and they did the non-contrast part, pulled me out and gave me the dye, pushed me back in and BAM!! the machine BROKE!!! And they couldn't get it started again. So I have to go back tomorrow - if the machine is even working yet - and have just the contrast part done. They tell me thats the most important part and they really can't tell anything until that is done. I just can't freakin believe this crap....I guess without my bad luck I'd have no luck at all. Now,let me say this before anyone else does - yes, my brain broke the machine!! Thanks for all your prayers and well wishes - I will let everyone know my results IF THEY EVER FIX THE DANGED MACHINE!!!! Hugs - Patti B. Quote
Muriel Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 Oh Patti, I'm sorry. What rotten luck. If it wasn't your brain that broke the machine, was it your charming personality? LOL Muriel Quote
Patti B Posted August 25, 2008 Author Posted August 25, 2008 Muriel- Maybe it was my "magnetic" personality!!! LOL Quote
shineladysue Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 (((((Patti))))), I can't believe that happened to you. I'm so sorry. Prayers continue ..... Hugs, Sue Quote

Muriel Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Magnetic personality, of course. Didn't they tell you to leave it outside the scan room? Generally, staff don't demonstrate much charm or magnetism. Just my experience. Hope your's has been better in the past. Muriel Quote
teriw Posted August 27, 2008 Posted August 27, 2008 Patti, Prayers, positive thoughts, and cyber-hugs coming your way... Quote
Nick C Posted August 28, 2008 Posted August 28, 2008 Patti, here's to being optimists here and saying some dust got on the lens and that this is nothing. Stuff does come up sometimes in these scans that really isn't anything!!!!! Quote
shineladysue Posted August 28, 2008 Posted August 28, 2008 Patti's update is in the GOOD NEWS Forum... My brain may be off a bit - but its NOT cancer Quote
