Connie B Posted August 31, 2008 Share Posted August 31, 2008 Hey Friends, Did anyone see on CBS this Morning a doctor for the NCI Clinic talking about Lung Cancer and Smoking? Russ Mitchell did the Interview with this doctor and it was AWESOME! I tried Goggling it, but can't find a think on it. I was this Morning on the Early Morning Show. The doctor talked about the Stegma attached to lung cancer and he really pooh poohed that Stegma and basically said, that's not the case at all. He showed how Lung Cancer recieved $1,400.00 per lung cancer cancer patient verses $34, 000.00 per breast cancer patient. This doctor said this has to CHANGE! I hope someone else saw this. I was so impressed on the little that I did see. This Doctor also said More non-smoking women are being dx.d with lung cancer but they honestly don't know why that is as of yet.
