Stopping Treatment.

You do have to respect your Dad's decision to stop treatment. It can be really rough, and there is much debate about quality vs. quantity of life. I do hope your father is not in pain and if he is, the family has a medical support system to make him comfortable.

My heart goes out to you, Judy in Key West (now in PA)

"shrimp"]I know how you feel. I just went through this with my father. If I can help, let me know. I remember your support during my fathers illness. It is still hard for me to come here, but it hurts less when I can maybe help someone else

Oh Shrimp (((HUGS)))

Thanks so much for thinking of me when you must still be hurting so badly!

The only questions that I have in my head are ones that I don't think anybody will be able to give answers to and so I don't ask them.

Caren,

I'm so sorry for what all of you are going thru. Maybe he will reconsider when he begins to feel better- but if not, then enjoy the time you have together and make it QUALITY time vs. the quantity.

My heart and prayers continue for your dad and you as you embark on whatever is next.

(((hug)))
