Caren
Although my dad is feeling much better and able to come home tomorrow He has decided that he doesn't want to continue with treatment I thought that he might make this choice and as he daughter I will stand by his decision, although it hurts me to do so. fillise
It is not uncommon to regain some strength and energy when streatment is stopped. I hope that is true for your dad so you can have some good days together. Susan
jaminkw
You do have to respect your Dad's decision to stop treatment. It can be really rough, and there is much debate about quality vs. quantity of life. I do hope your father is not in pain and if he is, the family has a medical support system to make him comfortable. shineladysue
Caren, I know this is difficult , but sometimes the decisions are tough in this fight. Your Dad is so blessed to have you supporting him in whatever choice he makes for himself. My thoughts and prayers are with you as I wish you lots of time to make wonderful lasting memories . God Bless, Sue
shrimp
I know how you feel. I just went through this with my father. If I can help, let me know. I remember your support during my fathers illness. It is still hard for me to come here, but it hurts less when I can maybe help someone else

The only questions that I have in my head are ones that I don't think anybody will be able to give answers to and so I don't ask them.
