When I met with my onc at MDACC today, as I often do, I sang the praises of this website. Dr Tseng said I probably knew Nov was Lung Cancer Awareness Month. I didn't but assured her I was sure the site would inform me. She said the local media often ask them if they have a patient that would be willing to tell their story. She thought I would be great for it because I was a good example of successful treatment. I told her she knew I had no problem talking and gave her permission to offer my name. And we have a Lung Cancer Awareness Day at our clinic that I am helping to organize. I always pitch this site to any lc patient I run into.
