grimie
I had a zometa infusion Wednesday and my back hurts bad when I first get up in the morning. I can hardly walk Take a couple of aspirin and I am fine. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks Ruth Stage IV on zometa and tarceva
Patti B
Ruth- Altho I never had any discomfort after Zoneta, I have heard of other who have had a day or two of pain after their transfusion. Hopefully, this will not continue to happen each time you get the Zometa. Good luck - Patti B.
Connie B
I just want to share with you that I just used our Search button at the top of this page between FAQ and MEMBERLIST and I typed in Zometa and I got all kinds of members posts on what your asking, along with other helpful information. It's really easy to do. Just click on Search and in the right hand corner type in the word or phrase you want to search and click on Submit. It's that easy. I use it all the time and it's soooo helpful. Wishing you all the best.
SandraL
Hi Ruth. I am also on Zometa. I have spine mets and always have a sore back so hard for me to say. However, I have yet to notice any significant side effects/changes to how I feel after a Zometa treatment. In fact, I would say it is just about the only treatment I have had where I haven't had significant side effects. I do recall my doc saying though that Zometa can bring on a pain "episode". Your pain may be from the Zometa or it may be from something else so I would report it to your doctor. I hope you get some relief soon, pain is not nice.
