JudyB Posted April 7, 2003 Posted April 7, 2003 I think it is outrageous of Revlon not to include lung cancer as a beneficiary in your May 3 Women's Cancer Run/Walk. Lung cancer is the number one killer of women. Lung cancer kills more women than any other cancer. Sure, men get it too, but men also get breast cancer. The estimated number of women who died of lung cancer in 2002 was 65,700. The estimated number of women who died of breast cancer in 2002 was 39,000. There are lots of Walk/Runs that benefit Breast Cancer. There are NONE for lung cancer! If you want to have more purchasers of Revlon products, then target the cancer that kills the most women. Please let us know that this decision has been reconsidered! In the meantime, I will suspend all purchases of Revlon products and pass the word around to all my friends and associates. Quote
