MsC1210 Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 I just did this and I also added it to my Facebook page.. I hope you will all take a moment and send a card to our Troops. For those who are not aware, I have a 20 yr old son in the Army National Guard who is being deployed within the next 16 months. It looks like January of 2010 right now but of course there is no way of knowing for certain. Warm Hugs, Christine If you go to this web site, www.LetsSayThanks.com you can pick out a thank you card and Xerox will print it and it will be sent to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq . You can't pick out who gets it, but it will go to some member of the armed services. This is also such a wonderful idea and I hope it gets much attention! I thought this was a nice thing to do so I'm passing it along. GREAT IDEA!! When doing your Christmas cards this year, take one card and send it to this address. If we pass this on and everyone sends one card, think of how many cards these wonderful special people who have sacrificed so much would get. When you are making out your Christmas card list this year, please include the following: A Recovering American Soldier c/o Walter Reed Army Medical Center 6900 Georgia Avenue,NW Washington,D.C. 20307-5001 Thanks so much... this is so important! These young men and women are sacrificing so much for all of us. It only takes a minute and a stamp to let them know we appreciate them. Quote
