KatieB
I've worked with this person for a few years now and know that she is a sweet, dedicated person with a big heart. On Monday she was scheduled for laproscopic surgery to remove what they thought was BAC, in the hopes that it was caught early and no further treatment for lung cancer was needed. It turns out they had to open her up and do a lobectomy- pretty confident it is adenocarcinoma (NSCLC) This was a shock. This person is just a couple of years older than me with small children- she has dedicated her life to being an advocate and we just like her so much. We are really hoping for the best. It will be a little while before pathology and any treatment plans are discussed. Please keep her in your prayers if you have any to spare. Please pray for the best scenario and a swift recovery! Thanks guys.
