KatieB
What is one thing you wish someone else would do for you to make this time a bit easier? Or What's one thing someone else has done that's really helped you during this cancer journey?
KatieB
I wish for many things.. I wish for lung cancer support groups for folks facing LC I wished we could have connected with other surivivors in our community. I loved when someone did something without being asked...that was such a BIG help!
SandraL
I agree Katie. When people do things for me without being asked it means so much. Because we are so often asked what people could do for us, but most times we just say no, we are fine. I have a friend who quite often drops off dinner. Nothing I would ever asked her to do, she just does it. And it is appreciated!
dadstimeon
I like it when people do things from the heart, not because they have to but because they want to. Does not matter what they do I appreciate it. Well been so many things but being home everyday by myself and limited to what I can do now is getting a phone call to see how I'm doing. Andrea
I am most touched when people do nice things without being asked. Whether it is a random "thinking of you" e-mail to a card to a kind gift to show you are in their toughts. I still remember all the kindess when my mom was diagnosed (and I remember those who did nothing to!)
