Flyman35
A few weeks ago I posted asking for prayers for our friend Bernie's wife Michelle as she underwent testing for cancer. The diagnosis is that she has NSCLC Stage 3. I forgot to ask if it was squamous, adeno, etc. She is a never smoker. She was set to go for surgery but they cancelled it because they said the tumor was too big. I will have to ask about that as well. According to Bernie she was not given any options after the sugery was cancelled. I'm thinking she should go for a second opinion. We talked to Bernie and his son Arnie this morning and told them about Lungevity. I hope that Arnie will at least come and take a look and read some stories for hope and inspiration. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers that she find someone that is willing to put a treatment plan together for her. Denise
SandraL
Lots of prayers for your friend Michelle. I am sure a treatment plan will be put in place soon. Sandra
ts
2nd opinion! My friend with "non- surgery" 1st onc, found a new doc who used chemo to shrink the treatment, then did surgery, then more chemo. She is 2-1/2 years since dx.
fillise
Oh my--drag her to get that second opinion yourself if you have to! I can't imagine not being offered treatment options. Tell her my mom--stage IV--has been successfully treated for 27 months and has an excellent quality of life. Susan
