Debi
Just wanted to share that tomorrow is kind of an anniversary...it will mark 6 months since my surgery. Hard to believe that it is 6 months!! Thank you all for the support you have given me and the friends that I have made here. Oh, and also, tonight is 6 months from my last cigarette.... 6 months ago to the hour, I was sitting in the smoking lounge of the cancer treatment center chain smoking. Gosh, lots of milestones this week!!

karen335
Debi, Way to go... Congrats on quitting smoking. You are awesome and thanks for all your support and caring. It takes a lot of will power to quit smoking especially when for some reason (addiction) we enjoy smoking... I quit in Jan 03 after smoking for over 30 years. Prayers for you and your family... God Bless Warm and gentle hugs Karen
chloesmom
Congratulations on your surgery and your quit smoking anniversary! In a few days, on the 20th, it will be my 6 month anniversary since surgery. I quit smoking on May 21, almost 7 months ago, the night I got the phone call from my doc with the bad news about my CT scan. We've made it this far and we're feeling good!!!!!!! Cause to celebrate, don't you think?
norme
So glad you gave up those nasty things too. I quit 19 yrs ago or something like that. I sure did love those terrible things. It won't be long and you will be posting 1 yr, 2 yr, 10 yr. Not sure I will be around for the 10th yrs, age is a factor for me... Go out tonight and work on #3. lolololol

MurielK
Congratulations, Debi! I know how tough both quitting and the surgery were. My 6 mo. "quitting" anniversary was Dec 12th. The surgeon insisted that I quit 2 wks. before surgery. The day after Christmas will be the 6 mo. anniversary for the surgery. Muriel K.
