ginnyde Posted June 2, 2009 Share Posted June 2, 2009 A dear friend from my high school days (back when you walked 25 miles in the snow) has been dx'd with LC. Don't know all the details - she is being very quiet. My good golf buddy has just had an xray that showed a mass, the ct scan confirmed it and now she needs a bronchoscopy (sp?). And her husband is being checked for nodules. Needless to say, I am worried. Any and all prayers, good thoughts and appendage crossing is most welcome. ginnyde Posted June 3, 2009 Author Share Posted June 3, 2009 The pulmonoligist truly believes that the lung issue is from pneumonia and is treating for that for now. The CT report indicated malignancy and lymph involvement, but he still is going to try the other route first. Huge sigh of relief for now. Thanks for all of your thoughts.
