Guest ekim4got
Hello, My Dad just finished his first chemo treatment two days ago. Now comes the nausea. He has a couple meds prescribed to help with the nausea but it looks like it will be a challenge to keep things in check. The old stand-by remedies like simply drinking a glass of OJ when his blood sugar gets low are already proving to be a little tricky. If anyone has any experience or information about handling chemo with diabetes I'd sure appreciate it. Thanks in advance. Mike

Mike You might try keeping some sugar candy handy that he can just suck on when his sugar gets too low, that might be easier on his stomach then trying to drink a glass of juice. Thats something I'd try. Some no sugar candy might also be good to keep handy when he's feeling just nauseated too, I remember that kind of helping to settle my stomach sometimes when I was feeling really sick. Good luck
