Not a good day

Following a Monday biopsy, today, my wife, Rose, was diagnosed with stage II breast cancer. It was just a phone call, so I don't have a lot of info yet, but I have been told there will need to be surgery, and there will need to be chemo. Sheesh...

Dam Bud, really sorry to hear that. Hopefully all will go well, or as well as it can all things considered. I'm glad you posted tonight, I started a new round of chemo today, been feeling like the bottom of a birdcage looks and I sure needed someone else to pray for to get me off of my pity pot. I'm sorry things are going this way for you but she's very blessed to have you there in her corner. Chins up Bud...

Hey Bud......there is just something so wrong about this, ya know? But then again ~ there is just something so wrong about cancer. Hope that with more info you both feel positive about the plan that will be put in place. Sorry you'll both be starting down this path all over again. As I have said many times in the past ~ who wrote the book of fair???? All our support for Rose!

Bud, I agree with Kasey. Life just isn't fair when it deals a hand like this. You keep up your strength and wellness so you can take care of Rose for now. Sorry about it. Like Donny, I'm in the "rough few days" of my new treatment and can shift my focus to wishing you both well.

I am certainly praying for you and Rose and pray that her surgery and treatment are successful so that you both can put cancer the disease behind you.

Damn, Bud -

This is so unfair!!! I hate cancer SO much.

But - I am sending you both lots of prayers and hoping for the best. Just to let you know, my mom who is 91 is a 18 year survivor of breast cancer. The treatments these days are very good and there are SO many surviviors out there.

Good luck and keep us posted, please.

Hugs - Patti B.

Hi Bud,

So very sorry to know that Rose has been diagnosed with breast cancer. As far as I am concerned, and as Carole Hammett used to say, "Cancer Sucks."

Our niece has just been through a double mastectomy and will be having chemotherapy beginning next week and continuing for 4 months. When they sent the nodes out for testing, there were cancer cells.

The good news is that the medical knowledge is so much more advanced today in how to treat it.

Sending my prayers for a completely successful outcome.

Barbara

Hey Bud,

I'm so sorry to hear about Rose's dx.s. This cancer stuff has got to be kicked out of the park. My thoughts & prayers are with both you and Rose. She's going to beat this and your going to help her. (((((Hugs to you BOTH)))))

God Bless,

Connie
