Thanks, Ann -- wonderful! My favorite was the long instructions to the wife -- if I didn't live thru that period, I'd be sure it was a joke. OTOH, some of the kitchens looked quite normal for today -- tho I guess I'm not as familiar with kitchens as I should be.

Thanks Ann that is a good trip down memory lane. A lot of that stuff was the good old days. As for the wife rules I was almost that stupid one time but now if some one showed me that I would tell them where they could shove it :!:

One thing missing is Halo Shampoo. The thing I notice the most is the women all wearing dresses and aprons, been there done that but not in high heels! Same for the wringer washer. I loved mine. As for the A&W mug my two oldest kids still have their child size mugs, we used to take them with us and they would get free refulls. There is an A&W here in town but the root been is sure not 5 and 10 cents a mug any more :(

Ann, I remember way too many of these things. Most especially drive-in movies, American Bandstand every day on TV after school and duck-tails (my hair did a great one). I do remember aprons but I never ever cooked or did housework in a dress!
