Connie B Posted December 20, 2003 Posted December 20, 2003 Christmas in Heaven 'Tis Christmas in Heaven- What a bearutiful sight! It's my first one here; Everything is all right. The crib is adorned With the brillance of stars; Wisemen have come From Venus and Mars. I've met all our dear ones Who preceded us here; The reunion was lovely, An event full of cheer. And tonight we'll all gather, In reverence we'll kneel, For the Babe in the cradle Up in Heaven is REAL. I think of my family That I left behind And I pray that your Christmas is as belssed as mine. Please shed not a tear, For my soul is at rest, Just love one another, Live life to it's best. Yes, it's Christmas in Heaven, So I've heard them say. Yet, Christmas in Heaven Happens every day. *********************************************************** Love to all of you that have lost a loved one this year. The holidays are tough, but we're here for you all. Warm and Very Gentle Hugs, Connie B Quote
MO_Sugar Posted December 20, 2003 Posted December 20, 2003 Connie, If you don't mind, I am going to borrow this and give it to my Pastor to read on Christmas Eve. We have lost 4 members of our church since Thanksgiving (I go to a very "old" church) and this may be just what is needed. Thank you for sharing it with us! God Bless, MO Quote
Connie B Posted December 20, 2003 Author Posted December 20, 2003 HI MO, Of course you can use it! I got this sent to me after my son died and it gave me great comfort. God Bless & Warm Hugs, Connie Quote

Guest JimW Posted December 21, 2003 Posted December 21, 2003 Connie, Thanks for the poem. It made me feel better, I was a little down tonight - missing Ada alot. I have been doing pretty well - but I have some bad days. The poem lifted my spirits a little. It is a poem that Ada would have loved. Jim Quote
Connie B Posted December 21, 2003 Author Posted December 21, 2003 Oh Jim, I agree with you that our Ada would have like the poem. Although, I should have done a spell check on it before I sent it out. I'm so very sorry your having some rough times. Wish there was something I could say or do to soften this pain for you. I only know as time goes on, it does get softer. ((((((((((((((JIM))))))))))))))) I have many Angel's on my Christmas tree and each year I add new one's in memory of all the friends I have lost to this moster of a disease. Sorry to say, my list to buy angel's was pretty long this year. We also lost one of our YOUNG members in my Lung Cancer Support Group, who was only 35 years young and left behind a wife and 2 small children. It all just BREAKS MY HEART!! Stay with us Jim and just MAYBE we can walk you though this pain called grief. Very Gentle Hugs, Connie Quote
