jaminkw
Evening All. Sorry it's so late and Lily thanks so much for starting a successful Air yesterday. I would have felt awful if there was no Air yesterday and I came in so late today. And your time in the park sounds so great. It reminded me of being at Bucktail campground in Blossburg PA with so many adults and children having just plain fun without spending a lot of money. I had a fabulous day. I slept late after the best night sleep I've had in awhile. Then I got up and moving after one cup of tea (hard for me) and went to the Osceola flea market with my husband. The market was pretty much of a bust but we got some great tasting fruit which is a big deal for Key Westers. I treated myself to a big cup of coffee to prepare myself for having my son and family to the coach for dinner. It was great. My husband grilled steaks and the kids swam after dinner. We had the longest visit we've had in awhile. I was so up I forgot until awhile after they left that I had an infusion tomorrow. Bummer. I had another cup of coffee around 4 pm with my daughter-in-law so between that and the steroids, I may not sleep at all tonight! Hope you all had a great day. ts
A swift and easy infusion in the 'morrow to you Judy. I hope you get some shut eye tonight - perhaps a little Ativan or your Rx of choice? We saw "Funny People" today - too long, and light on the humor. Perhaps a bit too close to home. But the seats were comfortable and the air conditioning was just right. jaminkw
Morning All! Wanted to get this in before I go to MDACC for my treatment. Thanks ts for the good wishes. Sorry the movie wasn't better but that's one thing about movies in the summer, at least it's cool in there. Oh Mike, I forgot to comment on your last Air. That really is to bad to see a cancer event ruined by the weather. That's the risk this time of year. It seems no matter what part of the country you're in, there's risk of storms coming through. I have a noon appointment but usually go in early and can manage to get out early. No guarantees. This morning we have a little paperwork to attend to so wanted to get in here and say hi to you all. Afterwards we'll come back to the coach and stow and load the car and off to PSL. We'll only be there overnight and then on to the Keys Tuesday morning. Yeah, I'm going home at last. Have a great day everyone. Judy in Key West

jaminkw
Thanks for all the good wishes. So far so good. We're on our way to PSL. We'll get there about 4:30 pm, have dinner, watch a little TV, sleep, pick up Dominick and head for the Keys. I am so excited. Let's hope I can ride the steroids thru tomorrow and whip the constipation problem and be feeling normal by Saturday. I've done it in five days before and can do it again. I know a lot of you hate steroids but coming as they do for me for four days surrounding my infusions and a bag with, every three weeks, they seem to not present much of a problem. I take Ativan for sleep and try to be alert if they are making me edgy so I don't dump on Stan. They just give me energy which I love! I see we have Sunday's Air mixed with Monday's Air which is o.k. It was just at first I thought I lost my mind again and named Monday Sunday. Have a great day everyone. Judy on the drive to Port St Lucie P.S. Odd thing, my white blood count is back in the nine range again; my RBC is low but my platelets are high. Any ideas on that anyone?
