ts
I never get discs. My SO got one for his knee repair - it was narrated, very cool. Not sure I could watch anyway.

bud
You can navigate to the different panels and there is a zoom window to get a better view. I saw some dark spots and I saw some bright spots so I really didn't gain any knowledge. Maybe if I had a better video card
jstdzy
I got a cd of my first CAT, at the time it freaked me totally out because my tumor was there. Looking back though it is way cool the way they do those! Dana
recce101
I always ask for a CD of my scans before I leave the imaging center, but don't get the written radiologist's report until I see my onc a few days later. So when I get home from a scan I first bring up the previous scan on the left half of the screen concentrating on the image numbers that were discussed in the previous written report. On the right side of the screen I bring up the equivalent images of the new scan (the numbers are sometimes 1 or 2 off, but I can usually get a good match from nearby bone structures). Then I compare the two, and so far there have been no surprises when I see the onc — UNLESS something has shown up in a different area, and I always miss that.
