Spend $20 Million on Lung Cancer Research

DoD needs veterans with lung cancer to serve as Consumer Advocates on Scientific Review Panels for Lung Cancer Research. You can help shape the vision of research, provide our perspective, and create a sense of urgency for the new developments in the fight against lung cancer.

To participate you must be:

• A survivor of lung cancer;

• An active participant in a lung cancer–related organization (support, outreach, advocacy) if he or she is not active duty military personnel;

• A high school graduate or equivalent;

• Able to read and write English;

• Able to demonstrate an interest in extending his or her personal scientific knowledge;

• Willing and able to represent the views of the community rather than his or her personal perspective; and

• Able to access a computer with a connection to the Internet
