Debi
Good to hear!!! Wishing her the best--- By the way, get plenty of pillows for her when she gets home - it helps to have alot of soft pillows to prop up on.

carolhg
I am so very happy that your mother decided to "GO FOR IT" and have the surgery. I went for it in July, 2005. I was stage 3A and have had clean scans since my surgery. The doctor most likely will want her to have adjuvant chemo after surgery. The purspose for that is to kill off and microscopic cancer cells that may be there and do not show up on the scans. I certainly will be praying for her to have a successful surgery. Patti B
Many, many good thoughts and prayers coming your way for your moms surgery to be a success and that she has a speedy recovery. I am SO glad she opted to have the surgery - she can be one of the very, very lucky ones whose cancer was caught early and taken care of. Your mom is so lucky to have you by her side. You take care of yourself, too. Hugs - Patti B.
