millie's girl Posted December 16, 2009 Share Posted December 16, 2009 My mom started chemo (cisplatin & taxol) December 7th...so far so good. She had a little bit of nausea but it was well managed with lorazepam. She has lost weight through this ordeal but as of yesterday, she has gained 4 pounds. So good that she is starting to gain back her weight and NED.. well , it just doesn't get better than that. You can count on my prayers to continue . I know how happy you must be.It will take her awhile to gain her weight back but it sounds like she is on her way. Prayer said for many many more NEDS.
