Donna G Posted April 8, 2010 Share Posted April 8, 2010 Anyone see the NBC News last evening? A spot started talking about a gene test that might predict which smokers will get Lung Cancer. Finding smokers with this Dysplasia ( changes in the gene of the cells) was what they were looking for . Then they said it counld be treated and reversed by a supplement called Inositol, found in Health food stores or naturally in some foods as oranges certain beans etc. Interesting. Kasey Posted April 8, 2010 Share Posted April 8, 2010 Yes, I saw it too, Donna. Sounds very promising. The only thing about the piece for me was the mention of smokers and former smokers. Although this particular study/gene is only for those particular persons ~ just the mention of smoking will leave legions of people still believing they will never be at risk.
