Afternoon All! One day at MDA down and one to go.

No carb yesterday made for a not so pleasant girl. Likewise this morning with no food from 8 pm last night til past noon time today. I'm feed now and relaxing on the couch. Don't have to do anything except get up and go to dinner later. Laurie and I are having breakfast in the morning. Can't wait.

Weather's here is nice today in Orlando. It says 87 degrees with only 57 humidity. Not too bad. Of course I'm sitting in the AC.

Eric, didn't know anyone would really want to hear the rest of Robert's story but here goes:

When Mr. Otto died in 1974, his long forgotten doll was left in the attic of the old house. Neighbors began reporting hearing an "evil giggle" coming from the attic, some even claimed to hear the doll moving about and peering from the attic window.

Despite the fact that La Concha was approved as a Holiday Inn franchise, this lurking spirit has proved to be an enduring nuisance to guests.

Eventually, the notorious doll was removed and placed on display in the East Martello Museum. But, the attic of the Artist's House was not freed of ghostly presence... soon after the doll's departure, the ghost of Gene Otto's wife, Anne, took up residence - standing guard against the return of Robert's evil spirit!

Seeing Robert the doll is believing. He is an evil looking bugger.

Have a great day everyone.

Good Evening Everyone,

Sunny and warm in Airdrie to-day about 70 I think,Scottish airports closed again to-day due to Iceland Ash.Glad Judy you can soak up the pleasures of Orlando with Laurie, hope to-morrow whizzes by and you can relax again to enjoy the foods you have missed.

Thanks for Robert part 2,why on earth would anyone give houseroom to such an ugly doll (unless to scare the in-laws away)- creepy stuff indeed.

Gave my presentation to-day (whisper it)only two turned up,both staff members, the event organiser, despite my confirming time and place with her last Friday, managed to post my event for Tuesday room 2.34,she apologised later reconfirmed Wednesday room 1.17,Wednesday 12.20pm I discover shes posted room 2.34 I had to post a notice on that door go to 1.17.Anyway with the meeting called at 12.30 to 1.30 which is lunch time, my buddies ribbed me a bit by saying they wouldnt want to miss their smoking break.

Ha-Ha.The two that turned up were from the health committee and were really embarrassed and will re-schedule me in June, with a guaranteed staff/student turnout?.

The Roy Castle Cancer Foundation were very professional in supporting me,they sent me a package by cab containing educational booklets called Look After Your Lungs and their Mays News Booklet, yes the one thats circulated to every hospital in the UK,every cancer centre and lung nurse, and yours truely having a full page all to himself and in full technicolour, proving once again where theres a down theres always an up-now how do I manage to sent it to you?

Have a Great Friday and Weekend.

Hello all! Nice to hear from Eric two....no three times! LOL! It's okay Eric. Judy, the doll story was absolutely creepy.

Sure would love to see the work that you did Eric! Did you keep the page you did in a document that you could copy and paste here? Congrats, even if no one showed up! Next time will be fantastic.

I'm working at the church office today. Got a new copier/printer yesterday, and am teaching everyone how to use it. Installing it on their computers too. Busy time for sure. But fun to see their eyes light up when they see all the whiz bang stuff this new machine can do.

Judy, hope you relish the food you will be able to eat again! Nice when the test is done huh? I'm not due to see my Onc. until the beginning of August, but doubt he'll order a CT unless something comes up with the muscle issues I'm having.

They have not diagnosed neuropathy yet. First is the EMG test next Wednesday, and then we shall see.

Have a good one!

LOL Eric, I love you're in company with me and my oopses. I'm so sorry about the turn-out for you presentation. Nothing worse than putting in the time and effort only to not have a proper audience. Never mind the case of nerves. Just think, you'll have it down pat by the next time.

Judy, hope the days fly by to your next medical apptmt next week.I had my laptop wirelessly connected to my printer at home before my virus crash. Been too lazy to do it again and miss the convenience like crazy.
