But I bet either you get immediate relief from surgery or they have some good Rx to control it. Laughing isn't much fun after surgery either. But I hope there is plenty of reason to be joyful. They do have great cough syrup they can give you after surgery, so make sure if they don't automatically give it to, ask for it asap.
