Sis
First off.... Happy New Year to All! May 2011 bring hope, health, and happiness to this wonderful support community! This Christmas we had a wonderful surprise. My Bro-in-law came to N.C. from Colorado to spend Christmas with us. He continues to be the caring person with whom we can share memories, and now, even some laughter. I made an honest attempt to bake my sister, Maura's famous lemon bread. The best gift I could have ever received was when we hugged good-bye at the airport and he said: "This is the best Christmas I've had in four years". The pain will never leave, but sometimes it does subside just a bit. Ellie
Kasey
Oh Ellie, how moving a sentiment. I'm sure you made Christmas the absolute best it could be for all - especially for your brother-in-law. Hope the holidays were wonderful to you. Think of you often - especially during college football season. Some day.........................I'm gonna meet you in the flesh! Was the flower business busy during the holidays? Love, Kasey
jaminkw
Ellie, that's the best. I haven't lost a spouse but I know when I get together once a year or so with my best friend Jim's family, it makes me feel so close to them.
