Surrounded by family and friends, he joined the Lord while in the peace and comfort of his home. Born Sept. 19, 1949, Robert is survived by his beloved wife, Maria Angela Coutinho Bass; sons Michael and Joseph of West Hartford, Conn.; mother, Rose Bass; sisters and brothers Michael, Steven, Virginia and Patricia; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Robert was an avid cyclist and electronics expert. Robert was adventurous and loved fishing the estuaries of the Amazon River in Brazil, motorcycling and flying.
