Partnership Adds Critical Online Resources for

WASHINGTON (March 1, 2011) – LUNGevity Foundation today announced an agreement with Global Resource for Advancing Cancer Education (GRACE), that will provide detailed information about lung cancer management to patients, their loved ones and caregivers. LUNGevity is the nation’s largest lung cancer grassroots organization, and in partnership with GRACE will make available experts to answer questions from and provide critically needed guidance to the lung cancer community.

GRACE is a non-profit organizationdeveloped by Dr. Howard (Jack) West, Medical Director, Thoracic Oncology Program, Swedish Cancer Institute, Seattle, WA that seeks to improve medical care for cancer patients by democratizing access to cutting edge information on optimal cancer management. GRACE is a friendly, compelling, and truly informative resource that goes well beyond the nonspecific information generally available on other websites to deliver information and answer questions as specifically as possible in order to help patients and caregivers understand their options and make truly difficult decisions. It is a trusted and qualified source of cancer information.

LUNGevity Foundation’s Lung Cancer Support Community (LCSC) is the largest online lung cancer support network. Through this agreement, LUNGevity now offers visitors access to experts through services such as webinars, podcasts and interactive sessions.
