oncologists not referring patients to clinical trials

The University of Wisconsin Comprehensive Cancer Center must not have read the article because numerous clinical trials are available through UWCCC

I think what the article was saying is that private practice oncologists or oncologists not afflilated with a NCI designated center don't refer as often.

I think the University of Wisconsin Comprehensive Cancer Center is a NCI designated center so getting to a NCI designated center may give patients more options. Finding the best doctors and cancer center is very important at least what I believe.

Oncologists generally can only give what has been approved by the FDA.
