Donna G Posted June 22, 2012 Share Posted June 22, 2012 The biopsy of my husbands lymph nodes near his sternum showed one was postive for Adenocarcinoma, lung cancer! I was diagnosed last August with adenocarcinoma stage IV, and I am actually doing quite well today. When you find a treatment that works, it can really make a difference. Alan Posted June 23, 2012 Share Posted June 23, 2012 Hi Donna, You were there for me when I was dxd in 09. We had pretty much the same type of cancer. You're doing great, I'm doing great and I'll have your husband and you in my thoughts as you go. Cisplatin was the thing I credit my success to along with etopicide and then Cyberknife. I beleive you will pull through. It's a f*^& of a way to spend summer but you'll get through it. I'm proof that surgery isn't the only way to go sometimes.
