NikoleV
Is there an age cap for chemo? December 21st, 2012 - by Dr. Jack West One important question that comes up frequently is whether someone with lung cancer is too old to consider chemo. While that’s an understandable concern, the actual evidence shows that patients in their 70s, and even in the range of 70-90, not only benefit from chemotherapy but generally get the same magnitude of benefit as younger patients. Here’s a brief video of the topic, done through my hospital’s website, that covers the question a bit more. http://blog.lungevity.org/2012/12/21/is ... for-chemo/
