-Cheryl-
Hey Folks, Fri. I had an H2o2 IV, which proports to put oxygen into the blood stream. This in turn rids the body of toxins and boosts the immune system. Aside from the needle stick to start the IV, the procedure was painless; although, I did acquire a weird taste in my mouth like one would get if they gargle with peroxide. I could imagine my blood fizzing like an alka seltzer...Ha! Fortunatly that didn't happen. Cheryl
Joe B
Cheryl... sounds very intriguing. Where did u go to have this done, do you have any info on the process? Joe
-Cheryl-
Joe, I am seeing a physician by the name of Dr. John Gonino in Rowlett, Texas- www.goninowellness.com. He has a regualr family practice, but also practices alternative and complementary approaches to treat disease. There are many web sites out there on H2o2 therapy. Here is one that explains the procedure fairly well. www.medical-library.net/sites/_iv_hydro ... erapy.html Cheryl
LindaMRG
Hi Cheryl, Thank you for the info which I copied down. We were all set to see a doctor that deals with alternative meds before my father got pneumonia so I am writing down all that I learn for when we do go. Are you taking anything else either by IV or mouth? Thanks so much!
Snowflake
Well, Cheryl....looks like you'll be maintaining the blonde from the inside out! Not sure I could handle the taste in the mouth, can't gargle with the stuff, makes me toss my cookies (kinda nullifies the rinse then)... BUT, thanks for the info! -Cheryl-
Becky and Linda, Becky, you keep me in stiches. I love your sense of humor! Linda, my dotor told me he treated his own Dad. His Dad was was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer and given 3 weks to live. He lived another 4 quality years, which included travel and golf. The doctor feels the tratment is currative, if anything it boosts the immune system to fight cancer. I had a vitamin infusion, next week is a calcium push, and yet to come is a diflucan IV. I will attend a nutrition class tomorrow. Dr. Gonino also prescribed arteminisin, Ph balancing supplements, and other tablets with minerals and herbs. Also I take liquid green tea supplement, noni juice, and multivitamin. Hope this helps. I know that I feel physically better than I have in since intial diagnosis. Let me know about what the doc says. My onc is O.K. with everything. Cheryl
karen335
Cheryl, Thanks for the website. I will take the time and read. Is this used only if you have had surgery or is it for all. Just curious. How quickly will you feel a difference and can you see the results from your bloodwork. Very interesting, I think you have sparked a very big crowd here... Please keep us posted. Prayers for you and that this is another miracle. God Bless Karen
Guest
I IV of hydrogen peroxide could be dangerous. It could cause an embolism. https://www.drweil.com/app/cda/drw_cda. ... t=Question

-Cheryl-
Dear Guest, I believe this type of therapy could cause an embolism if blood is withdrawn, heavily hydrogenated, then reinjected back into the patient's bloodstream. I tried to pull up the web address I posted, but couldn't on my web tv here at home. There are numerous to view on the internet. This type of therapy has been widely researched and studied for close to 70 years. I can't say that it is a cure...but then again, neither is chemo. I am a fairly conservative person, and would not do any treatments if I felt they posed a risk. Dr. Gonino has never had anyone with any complications in his 8 years of practicing alternative treatments. Plus I talked to his patients, and my PA is now working for him! My suggestion is do your homework. This approach isn't right for everyone. My goal is to boost my own immune system to fight this disease. I refuse to sit on my hands and do nothing. Atleast I feel like I am fighting this disease. BUt this is jst one of many treatments I am undergoing. I think with most alternative approaches there is skeptisism, and undersandibly so. However, remember, the effectiveness of these approaches have about the same cure rate as traditional medicine approachs. Cheryl
-Cheryl-
To the guest who replied... Take your skeptisism and post it somewhere else, like the "General Section" where you might get some attention... we don't need it here. -Jack-
Eileen
Sorry but I disagree---I do not think "guest" wrote anything wrong---guest was just pointing out some other articles on the subject matter--- -I think Cheryl answered correctly "it is not for everyone" and nor did she advocate anyone using what she is doing---just giving us the info-- but I do believe that people should also post if they find out some articles or some research that points out potential dangers with some of the alternative medicines -- -then the reader can decide for themselves to do or not do--- best wishes
-Cheryl-
I just noticed Jack's post. You must forgive his attitude at times. He just wants me to beat this disease, and doesn't want anyone to bring me down. He believes that a positive attitude and belief in the cure have everthing to do with survival. We have been married over 20 years, and I know that Jack would gladly lay down his life so that I could live. Not that I would want him to, but it saddens me to think of "us" not being together. -Cheryl-
I'll have Cheryl document every side effect and dangers to the therapies she receives from now on...Then we can all sit around and dwell on that. -Jack-
LindaMRG
Cheryl and Jack, Please dont let the skepticism of others stop you from posting about your treatments. I, for one, am very interested. I am so eager to get my father out of that hospital and to the doctor I found that deals with this type of therapy. I have always written down what I learn here and ask onc about it. I have also written down what I learn in this section to ask this particular doctor about it and see what pertains to my father's situation. When he prescribes things for my father I'll ask questions and do research myself. You are such an inspiration on this board. Youve shared your experiences, knowledge on different things, kindness and compassion to everyone who needs it. Please know how many people you touch. There will always be someone who doesnt agree, but there will be the many, many others that you may have helped, more than you probably even know about. dadstimeon
Hi Cheryl, Whatever you think might work to help you is the way to go. It's an individual choice all of us have to make about our care and it should be respected. Stay positive and focused on what you are doing. It's great Jack is 100% behind you with his support. I would eat a donkey's *ss if I thought it would help me. Now I'm sure on how our wonderful system works somebody probably went out and got a grant and did research on the side effects of eating a donkey's *ss. Sorry I've had people question my decisions and I know how it feels to go against the grain when people don't understand. My thoughts and prayers are with you for the best of results. Peace, take care and God Bless. Cary
Rich, I don't think anyone will care if you eat the *ss of a donkey, but if you were to inject it up your butt that may be a problem. I'm not a doctor but putting raw "*ss" meat up your butt might be dangerous, but we won't discuss these side effects here. I don't know about everyone else, but if and when the day comes and I decide to put something up my butt(insert your joke here), I would like to know what side effects I could expect. In my experiences with people, they usually tend to discuss side effects, this doesn't mean they are dwelling on them. I believe they are just overly concerned about protecting their butts before beginning a new type of therapy. Cary
