KatieB
What's the one thing you wish you would have known sooner when your loved one was diagnosed with lung cancer?
michellep
I wish that I had been more educated on cancer and the risks. I also wish that his doctors had assisted with education following his diagnosis. We were at everyone's mercy and that I regret.
KatieB
I think that's true for alot of us that went through this 5 or more years ago. Things have changed greatly in the lung cancer space but we still have so far yet to go. Education, information, support and treatment options are still unmet needs we try to fulfill. Sadly, for those patients without an advocate family member or caregiver, they fall through the cracks. My hope is that one day the quality of care equals that which the patient deserves.
