luvmydog2
Thanks Estrea. I am going to copy and paste this article in an e-mail to my local newspaper. Perhaps they will do a story also. So many non smokers are getting lung cancer. Perhaps someone else would like to do the same. Maybe we can get our point out that lung Cancer IS the number one killer. EileenM
Great article. So true about being asked "Did you smoke?" I've been trying to avoid being asked that question by stating I never smoked, but have to admit I ambeginning to get irritated when I am asked. Maybe I will start carryiing index cards with the facts stating percents, etc. about lung cancer and give them (with a smile ) to those who ask "Did you smoke?" Margaret
Thanks for posting the excellent article. I'm always looking for the right response to that question. Actually, I stopped smoking over 20 years ago, but I don't feel that is something I need to discuss every time I reveal that I have lung cancer. Thanks again, Margaret
Nancy B
I agree, Margaret. I quit 12 years before my diagnosis. I often feel so guilty when people ask that question and then feel that I need to defend myself and my disease. Nobody deserves lung cancer! Estrea, thanks for the article. Nancy B.
