kimblanchard Posted January 27, 2004 Posted January 27, 2004 Hi Folks, It is stress time again and I am asking for prayers. I get my next ct scan Feb 2 and the results the 5th. This always stresses me and I believe most of you can relate to that. Since the last scan was inconclusive due to inflamation (radiation pneumonitis) I am really anxious about this one. Then I get to feeling guilty for feeling that way- that maybe it is a sign of lack of faith. My faith is strong, It is just that I know God's will may not be my will. Having to stay inside due to zero temperatures, ice and snow isn't helping either. Quote
Elaine Posted January 27, 2004 Posted January 27, 2004 I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. It is hard when the weather keeps us confined. Quote
Nancy O. Posted January 27, 2004 Posted January 27, 2004 Will definately be saying some prayers. Good thoughts are coming your way also. It is a nerve racking time, but stay positive and remember we are all here for you. God Bless. Nancy O. Quote
Remembering Dave Posted January 28, 2004 Posted January 28, 2004 Stress is a natural reaction at a time like this. Don't let it get you down. My prayers will be with you. David C Quote

Tiny Posted January 28, 2004 Posted January 28, 2004 BLT We all really relate to how you're feeling at scan time. The waiting and not knowing is debilitating. You'll be in my prayers for good results on your upcoming tests. In the meantime, try to enjoy something about every day. Your faith will stand you in good stead. Quote
-Cheryl- Posted January 28, 2004 Posted January 28, 2004 BLT, Saying a prayer for you now. I read a book by Kubler and Ross on death and dying, which stated that christians were just as fearful of death as atheists were. We are human beings, and this disease is scarey. I hope your scans are clear! Cheryl Quote
