I am going to be setting up a booth to bring awareness and raise funds for Lung Cancer at local fairs and festivals. My booth will provide information, bandies and a donation bucket. I have acquired a small list of venues to set up my booth but would like to hear from everyone on any ideas they may have on any other settings to get our message out. I live in Mobile, AL. Thank you for any suggestions.

Hi Cheryncp123! Thank you for being such an incredible advocate. We can send LUNGevity materials via this website https://www.lungevity.org/about-us/request-materials.

I've worked several of these types of events as LUNGevity's Marketing Manager and the co-coordinator of Breathe Deep Baltimore. We always try to come up with an activity to encourage people to come to the table, whether it's a trivia game, a prize wheel, a raffle, or a photo booth. We've used lung cancer facts from LUNGevity's website https://www.lungevity.org/about-lung-cancer/lung-cancer-statistics to come up with trivia questions. And we always have a sign up sheet if people want to volunteer for a local Breathe Deep event or if they want to be added to LUNGevity's email list to get Foundation updates and newsletters.

Please feel free to contact me directly if you want to brainstorm or if you have any questions! My email is lhumphries@lungevity.org

Regards,

Lauren
