Did anyone happen to watch ABC's 20/20 Friday night?

It wasn't about cancer, but it was interesting regarding Homeopathy treatments.

It was John Stossel's Give me a Break segment.

I am in complete favor of anything that works to beat cancer, HOORAY. But as most of you know, I always say, "BUYER BEWARE" You don't have to take MY word for anything, just read up on Alternative med's before you spend $$$$$$$$$$ in trying them is all.

I also caught that on Fri. night, I really do like that guy!! He's down to earth and keeps things simple!!

Agree with you, gotta do the research and make up your own mind, just too much BS out there!!

I agree that you have to really watch out and not get caught by things that are not what they really seem to be. I think cancer patients and their families are often very easy targets because people feel they have no options. I know I was ready to jump off the edge and try some pretty strange stuff when Dennis was ill. My thoughts were that I would do naything to save him. Thank goodness I had a very level headed son that did lots of extensive research on things prior to me opening my wallet!

However, I do believe that doctors should be a bit more open minded to the various treatment options that are available. Mosat doctors tend to think that if something is not made in a lab and FDA approved it has no viable chance of working!!!
