Tom Galli
Ines, Welcome back. It has been a long time. I've personally not had whole brain radiation but a recognized side effect is speech difficulty. In particular, slurred speech or difficult in speaking or understanding. Is this the problem your husband is having? Stay the course. Tom

Tom Galli
Ty, Ok, I understand. Perhaps the angle they are using for brain radiation is affecting his vocal chords. That is only a guess on my part because I'm not a doctor. But all the reading I've done on whole brain radiation did not identify loss of voice as a symptom. I hope this helps. Understand you are busy and hope your husband's treatment is successful. Stay the course. Tom
ines.kojundzic1
He does whole brain radiation, but, Im guessing that they give him higher dose on location of metastases, which are beyond his ears, which is near his vocal cordes. He didnt lost his voice, it is just differentPoslano sa mog D2005 koristeći Tapatalk Tom Galli
