karenl
Hi all I have been meaning to post this for a while, but keep forgetting!!! I just thought some of you might be interested in taking a look at the work done by Ian Gawler. He is an Australian who had osteosarcoma when he was about 25 years old, and had to have his leg amputated. The cancer returned and was very aggressive, and he was given about 2 weeks to live by doctors as his condition was so advanced. That was 25 years ago, and he is still going strong, cancer-free. He attributes his recovery to meditation, diet and positive thought. He has formed a foundation in Australia which helps others battle this disease. There should be plenty of information about him on the web, if you just type in his name. I found his work to be very inspirational, particularly when my mum was first diagnosed. Hope this helps some of you too. Cheers! Karen
