bes Posted August 13, 2018 Author Share Posted August 13, 2018 Sorry for the confusion No it was not called in I took the prescription to the pharmacy after several calls between the palliative care dr. and the insurance company they finally agreed to fill the prescription from what I understand it was the number of pills that was the problem and after the Dr. described my husbands condition they agreed that amount was warranted. Judy M. Posted August 13, 2018 Share Posted August 13, 2018 For future reference because of stricter regulations for pain meds now you have to have a written prescription for them. Just the pain meds can no longer be called in. One more hassle to deal with but it is what it is.
