MO_Sugar Posted February 9, 2004 Posted February 9, 2004 Hi All, JUST walked in the door from a week of working in St. Louis. I have once again learned why I live in the country!! Those folks are NUTS!! Rain and ice and they are driving 70 miles an hour and then can't understand WHY they slide off the road???? Missed you all and it looks like it is going to take me another week to catch up on all the messages! God Bless, MO Quote
gerbil runner Posted February 9, 2004 Posted February 9, 2004 Welcome back! Glad you didn't join any off-road excursions I live in a rural area, too. Cities always remind me of the experiments where the scientiest overcrowd rats in a small area, and they end up eating each other (the rats, not the scientists). Quote
TBone Posted February 9, 2004 Posted February 9, 2004 I am glad you made it back safely and I feel the same way about cities.I live way out in the sticks. It is about 25 miles to fast food and such conveniences and I love it.I do enjoy a city visit occasionally just to see how crazy it is.Traffic and noise drive me crazy after a few days though.Take care and I look forward to your future posts.TBone Quote
J.C. Posted February 9, 2004 Posted February 9, 2004 Welcome back, now you can rest from the erratic life of a city, but it is good once in a while to see, it makes us appreciate what we have. Love J.C. Quote

Cindy RN Posted February 10, 2004 Posted February 10, 2004 Missy-I hate it that I could not catch up with you in St Louis!!! Last Sun. the boiler quit working at my house and we did not have any heat for several days. I was so busy trying to keep heaters going and get a repair person in that I was unable to get over. Glad your trip went well and maybe in the futre we can get together. Love Cindy Quote
MO_Sugar Posted February 10, 2004 Author Posted February 10, 2004 Cindy, Don't feel bad. The weather was not that good so I spent most of my free time in the hot tub reading, lol. We will get together when it is nicer out. God Bless, MO Quote
