kimblanchard Posted February 10, 2004 Share Posted February 10, 2004 My Mom starts her chemo tomorrow!!! All brain, abdomen and pelvic scans are clear. Her bone scan came back with an abnormality on her L3, her oncologist has ordered a CT for Friday. He thinks it is probably arthritis for a number of reasons. They also found an old lumbar fracture!! . She has no back pain. I guess the CT will tell more. The doc said mets usually show in more than one lumbar.
