LauraRem
I was dx'd with stagec4 nsclc in Dec 2017. Received chemotherapy and immunotherapy for a year. The cancer continued to grow. I am currently under hospice care and doing well, although I have a lot of pain due to bone metastasis, for which I have had radiation treatments recently, which helped to some degree. I am right now in hospital for uncontrolled pain but go home today. We can't seem to get the pain below a 6 on a scale of 1 to 10.
Tom Galli
Laura, It is indeed a pain to live with chronic pain. Mine has been a 4 to 6 level for the last 15 years. I've had all the pain drugs except for nerve blocks. Nothing really works. Opioid medications put me in a haze so I don't care about the pain but it is still there. My solution is to tolerate it during the day and mitigate it at night so I can fall asleep. I do hope your medical team finds a solution. Stay the course.
