Susan Cornett
I had an appointment with my primary doctor yesterday for my semi-annual blood work. Losing a thyroid is not all it's cracked up to be. 😁 My physician was unavailable at the last moment so the nurse practitioner gave me my results. I'd never met her before so she read through my records. When we discussed my lung cancer and latest results, she asked if I was a smoker. Come on! She's a medical professional - she should know better. This just tells me we have more work to do to educate those around us. I'm getting my social media posts ready for Lung Cancer Awareness Month. I hope you'll also use November to share lung cancer facts and educate others.
