Tom Galli
Michele, Yes I had this symptom after one of my thorasic surgery procedures. I felt much better after the fluid was drained. Hope you do also. Stay the course. Tom
Susan Cornett
I had fluid in my lung post-lobectomy longer than I expected. I didn't have to have it drained but my understanding is that the fluid is not uncommon.
LouT
After my lobectomy I had fluid in the chest cavity that did concern me but after seeing the doctor I learned that it can dissipate on its own after a while and that is what I experienced. In my case there was no shortness of breath, but rather a gurgling when I would breathe deeply. How are you doing since the draining of the fluid?
