I have not heard of these mutations however that’s not unusual.  The molecular testing results reveal a large number of mutations identified, in fact there are hundreds, however it may not have any impact on the development of a precision treatment plan. To date, there are about 9 mutations that will respond to targeted therapy which is what the oncologist is looking for.
So then why bother testing for all known mutations? The science is moving pretty fast so it’s better to know as clinical trials emerge it could open the door to additional treatment options.

What did the oncologist say about it?  Just curious.
