Heather32
Hello all! I am Heather from New Hampshire and my Mom has been diagnosed with Stage 3 sclc. She is on oxygen at home and has emphazema along with the cancer. She is a tiny woman maybe 5'5" at 85lbs. I lost my grandfather (not her father) to cancer, not sure what kind. He went very fast. I am looking for a way to financial handle taking care of her if the time comes that she needs it. I am a single Mom and struggling now. I have a huge desire to help others along with my Mother in some way. I wish I could hit the lottery and start a program in my home state for cancer patients and there families. Sorry I'm rambling. Any ideas please email me at heather949@comcast.net Not looking to get rich just want to help my Mom
mhutch1366
Hello Heather, I am glad you have found us. This is a warm, caring family of people all coping with the effects of lung cancer on the lives of themselves or their loved ones. There are others here better qualified than I to recommend state social service programs or American Cancer Society benefits that might be available to your mother. You and your mother are in my prayers, MaryAnn
