TJM
Hope all are well. I've noticed my soar throat is much worse now than a few days ago. Feels just like it did during radiation. Have a CT scan next Tuesday. I hate these kind of decisions. Yes...called advice nurse but never got thru. Not to worried, but it does hurt like hell to swallow Peace Tom
Susan Cornett
I was trying to come up with a response other than 'Yikes' but that's all I've got. Any chance this is the thyroid issue?

LexieCat
I'm sorry, Tom, I've got nothing to suggest other than what you're doing. Sore throats are miserable and the worry doesn't help. Hang in there and keep us posted.
LouT
Sorry to hear this Tom. The Manuka Honey is a great help, but your concern is very normal. Please be more aggressive in trying to get some input from the medical team. Lou
LUNGevityKristin
Tom, INA might be able to help with some throat friendly foods. It's a free service available. TJM
Still sore but the oxy helps it. I'll stop taking any to see how bad it gets. Called the advice nurse three times and never connected. Also sent note to docs...no response. I get my next scan on Tuesday. I will ask if that scan will cover my throat. Thx for asking. Tom

LouT
When I used it I had to order it online, but it is so worth it. It helped me after a surgery that really left my vocal chords in a bad way. You can read about it here. Then you can order it from many sources. Just make sure that it is from Australia and authentic. Lou
LexieCat
Bought mine from Amazon--this seems to be one of the less expensive ones, genuine and from New Zealand (also a source): https://smile.amazon.com/Manukora-Multifloral-Authentic-Certified-Traceable/dp/B07K8VRTXG
TJM
You guys misunderstood. I bought some last year and I cant find it!
LexieCat
Right, but if you need it now, why not order some more? The link I posted has a small size for $14--seems like it's worth it to get some relief. I don't think honey EVER goes bad (I read somewhere that it can keep literally hundreds of years).
TJM
I think my wife has reordered. I know..I am more than capable of ordering it myself but old habits are hard to break 😂 Yes. I'm a chauvinist.
